About CardCheck
CardCheck is a free tool that helps Indian consumers compare credit cards side by side using accurate, up-to-date data sourced from official bank websites and Most Important Terms & Conditions (MITC) documents.
Why we built this
Choosing a credit card in India means opening dozens of bank tabs, reading fine-print PDFs and comparing numbers on spreadsheets. CardCheck does all of that for you in one place. We extract key data points — annual fees, joining fees, reward rates, lounge access, forex markup, eligibility criteria and more — so you can make an informed decision in minutes instead of hours.
How we source data
Official MITC documents
We download and parse the MITC PDF for every card — the legally mandated document containing all fees, charges and terms.
Bank product pages
We crawl official bank websites to capture reward structures, benefits, eligibility requirements and card images.
Regular updates
Our data pipeline runs regularly to detect changes in fees, rewards or benefits. Each card page shows when it was last updated.
Community feedback
Users can rate cards and flag outdated information, helping us prioritise which cards to re-verify first.
