Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using CardCheck (“Platform”) operated at cardcheck.in. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About CardCheck

CardCheck is a free, independent credit card comparison platform for Indian consumers. We aggregate and display information about credit cards from official bank sources and MITC (Most Important Terms & Conditions) documents to help users make informed decisions.

CardCheck is not a bank, lender, financial institution, or credit bureau. We do not issue credit cards, accept loan applications, or provide financial advice. We are a comparison and information platform only.

2. Eligibility & Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use CardCheck
  • You must be a resident of India or accessing the Platform for Indian credit cards
  • Creating an account is optional. Most features are available without registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You agree to provide accurate information if you create an account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

3. Disclaimer: Not Financial Advice

Nothing on CardCheck constitutes financial, legal, tax or investment advice.

  • Card data, fees, reward rates and eligibility criteria are sourced from publicly available bank documents but may not always be up to date. Always verify directly with the bank before applying.
  • Our recommendation quiz, eligibility checker and rewards calculator produce estimates only. Actual credit card approval, rewards earned and fees charged depend on your individual profile and the bank's final assessment.
  • CardCheck does not guarantee credit card approval. A card being shown in the eligibility checker does not mean you will be approved.
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on the information on this Platform.

4. Affiliate Links & Advertising

CardCheck participates in affiliate programmes. Some “Apply Now” links on the Platform are affiliate links — we may earn a commission if you apply for a credit card through these links. This is at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our card data, rankings, comparisons or editorial content. All card data is sourced independently from official bank documents.

Sponsored placements, if any, will be clearly marked as “Sponsored” or “Ad”.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl or systematically download content from CardCheck without written permission
  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its servers
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
  • Use automated bots to interact with the Platform in ways that exceed normal usage
  • Reproduce or resell CardCheck content without attribution and permission

6. Intellectual Property

The CardCheck name, logo, website design, tool code and original written content are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce them without permission.

Credit card names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective banks. CardCheck displays them for comparative and informational purposes only.

Card data sourced from public MITC documents and bank websites is factual information not subject to copyright.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardCheck and its operators are not liable for:

  • Any inaccuracies in card data, fees or benefit information displayed
  • Any loss arising from your reliance on information on the Platform
  • Credit card applications being rejected by banks
  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
  • Any downtime, interruptions or errors in Platform availability

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed ₹1,000 or the amount you paid to use the Platform (if any), whichever is lower.

8. Third-Party Links

CardCheck links to external bank websites and affiliate networks. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security or practices of these external sites. Visiting external sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of CardCheck shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of CardCheck after changes means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.
