How we make money

CardCheck is free to use. We earn revenue when you apply for a credit card through our affiliate links and are approved by the bank. We may also display advertisements. This does not cost you anything extra and does not influence which cards we show or how we rank them.

How Affiliate Links Work

When you click an “Apply Now” or “Apply” button on CardCheck, you may be redirected to the bank's official website via an affiliate tracking link. This tracking link contains a unique identifier that tells the bank or affiliate network that you came from CardCheck.

If you are approved for the credit card, we receive a commission from the bank or affiliate network. The commission is a fixed fee paid by the bank — it is not charged to you and does not increase the card fees, interest rates or any other terms in any way.

If you are not approved, we receive nothing.

Our Affiliate Partners

We work with or intend to work with the following types of affiliate partners:

  • Direct bank DSA (Direct Selling Agent) agreements
  • Affiliate networks that aggregate bank programmes (e.g. vCommission, Cuelinks, BankSathi)
  • Individual bank affiliate programmes where available

Not every card on CardCheck has an affiliate relationship. Many cards are listed purely to provide complete comparison data, with no financial benefit to us when you apply.

What Affiliate Relationships Affect vs. Don't Affect

What is NOT affected
  • Card data, fees, reward rates or benefits
  • How cards are ranked in search results
  • Eligibility criteria shown
  • Comparison table data
  • Quiz or calculator results
  • Our editorial reviews and ratings
What may be affected
  • Whether an "Apply Now" button is shown (cards without affiliate links may show a direct bank link instead)
  • Whether a card is featured in a "sponsored" position (always clearly labelled)
  • Priority of outreach to update data for high-traffic cards

Display Advertising

CardCheck may display advertisements from third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). These ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Advertisers have no control over our editorial decisions or the data we display. Ad revenue helps us maintain and improve the platform.

Sponsored Placements

Occasionally, banks or financial companies may pay for sponsored placement on CardCheck (e.g. a “Featured” card position). Any sponsored content will always be clearly and prominently marked with a “Sponsored” or “Ad” label in compliance with ASCI (Advertising Standards Council of India) guidelines.
