Your checkout is smooth. Swipe, tap, pay — done.
Your cashback story might still be clumsy.
If Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy and Zomato quietly eat most of your fun-money pile, picking the wrong card feels like tipping the rider every delivery but forgetting to reward yourself.
This ranking is blunt: only these four. We freeze a realistic monthly slice — Amazon ₹5,000, Flipkart ₹3,000, Swiggy ₹3,000, Zomato ₹2,500 — ₹13,500 total. No petrol flex, no insurance bill gymnastics, no pretend travel halo. Fuel, groceries, bills and airports are deliberately out so headline app rates compete fairly.
Every quoted rate comes from issuer-published reward wording tied to MITC disclosures. Promo teasers and welcome gimmicks stay out.
Below you get estimated net rupees per year after caps bite and annual fees count. Real life still depends on merchant category codes and exclusions — sanity-check anything big on the issuer document before applying. Model your amounts in the Rewards Calculator.

How this ranking works
We use a custom per-platform earnings model — not a general spend mix.
For each card we:
- Pull benefit summaries sourced from issuer fee and rewards disclosures (typically MITC / official pages)
- Extract the named rate and monthly cap for each of the 4 platforms
- Apply the rate to your spend on that platform, then apply the cap (per-platform or combined if stated)
- Convert points to rupee value using point_value_inr from the same disclosure set (typically about ₹0.25–₹1 per point when points apply)
- Deduct the annual fee when it is not waived on this profile
Cards without a named benefit line for any of these 4 platforms are excluded. That is conservative — some cards with a strong general "online" or "dining" rate may look weaker here, but we only quote what is explicitly tied to a platform or a clear category line.
Reference spend — platform only (₹13,500/month)
Amazon ₹5,000/month · Flipkart ₹3,000/month · Swiggy ₹3,000/month · Zomato ₹2,500/month.
We do not include grocery, fuel, bills, travel, or other spend in this ranking.
If those categories matter to you, use the Rewards Calculator with your full spend profile.

Why caps matter more than headline rates
Most cards that advertise 10% on Swiggy or 5% on Amazon have a monthly cap — and that cap is the real number you need to check. Here is how caps affect our reference spend:
- HSBC Cashback Credit Card on Swiggy: 10% × ₹3,000 = ₹300/month uncapped, but cap is ₹1,000/month → you only get ₹222/month
- HSBC Cashback Credit Card on Zomato: 10% × ₹2,500 = ₹250/month uncapped, but cap is ₹1,000/month → you only get ₹185/month
- Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card on Swiggy: 10% × ₹3,000 = ₹300/month uncapped, but cap is ₹500/month combined → you only get ₹273/month
- Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card on Zomato: 10% × ₹2,500 = ₹250/month uncapped, but cap is ₹500/month combined → you only get ₹227/month
- Standard Chartered DigiSmart Credit Card on Swiggy: 10% × ₹3,000 = ₹300/month uncapped, but cap is ₹200/month → you only get ₹200/month
- Standard Chartered DigiSmart Credit Card on Zomato: 10% × ₹2,500 = ₹250/month uncapped, but cap is ₹200/month → you only get ₹200/month
The practical lesson: a 5% uncapped card often beats a 10% card with a ₹500/month cap the moment you spend more than ₹10,000/month on that platform.
Methodology & limitations
Everything below is rule-based and tied to issuer wording — not a vibes-based listicle.
- Data source: Reward lines from issuer-published documents. Benefit text can change mid-year — if a perk is absent from what we cite, we skip that card rather than guessing.
- Platform matching: We match benefits only when the platform name or a plain synonym appears. Generic "online" lines are fallback only.
- Combined caps: When a single benefit line mentions two platforms with "combined" cap language, we split the cap by the spend amounts used in this ranking.
- Points conversion: Points use point_value_inr from the card record; if missing we assume ₹0.25 per point (conservative).
- No welcome bonuses: Joining gifts, milestone rewards, and limited-time offers are excluded.
- Annual fee waiver: We apply waiver logic using annual platform spend only. If you spend more outside these platforms, more cards may effectively be free.
- Not financial advice: Read the issuer's MITC before applying.

FAQ
- Which card gives the highest cashback on Amazon?
Scroll to Best cards for Amazon.
That block lists every card in our comparison set with issuer wording that explicitly names Amazon — sorted by headline rate, then by cap-adjusted rupees on our ₹5,000/month Amazon slice.
- Why does a 10% card rank lower than a 5% card?
Usually monthly caps.
A 10% card with a ₹300/month cap earns less than a 5% uncapped card once you spend more than ₹6,000/month on that platform. See Why caps matter more than headline rates for card-level examples.
- Does the Swiggy rate also apply on Zomato (and vice versa)?
Not automatically.
Some cards split Swiggy and Zomato, some use one line with a combined cap, and some name only one app. We model each line as written — no wishful merging.
- My card is not in the list — why?
This article only admits cards where issuer benefit text explicitly names Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy or Zomato (or qualifies for our strict fallback rules).
A strong general online card might still ace your life — run it in the Rewards Calculator.
- Can I see what happens if I spend more on Swiggy and less on Amazon?
Yes.
The Rewards Calculator uses the same per-benefit logic and lets you type exact ₹ amounts per category.
